▼▼▼ VIDEO INFORMATION ▼▼▼
There is a grave misconception in the BDSM community which can even be found on Wikipedia and other information sites: that aftercare is strictly for tops and doms to provide to their bottoms or submissives. While it is important that s-types receive appropriate care, especially after very intense scenes, this is not to suggest and d-types are without their own needs.
While the highs and lows of play are often less obvious than the bruises and tears of an s-type, there can still be ill-effects from play that d-types experience. This is often in the form of stress, anger, guilt, or lethargy in the hours and days post-play. In fact, many d-types may not even realize they are experiencing a drop at all! Just like s-types, many of these people also need aftercare to help smooth their transition between play and the real world.
