CAM4 has always pursued the highest level of safety and security for performers who appear on the site, and through its charity initiative CAM4 Cares the company has also worked to improve the environment that sex workers are in, going beyond the boundaries of the webcam platform itself.
April was Sexual Awareness month, and CAM4 partnered with the Cupcake Girls Charity by offering a new teal ribbon gift on the site. All proceeds were to be donated directly to the charity who help support sex workers and cam girls. CAM4 is proud to announce that through its donors, $4800 was raised last month and has been given to the charity!

The contributions were collected almost identically to the way tips are handled, but instead of funding the girl or the site, viewers felt great about doing their part to protect women who are in need of assistance by caring, trustworthy and helpful individuals.
