▼▼▼ VIDEO INFORMATION ▼▼▼
Hello everyone! We are back again today with another opinion-based video. And oh boy are we in for a ride... So, does being submissive mean being a doormat? Are submissives supposed to submit to every Dominant they meet, or listen to orders from anyone without question? What about going to classes on their own, seeking educational resources or leading community groups? Well, let's discuss.
This video brought to you by direct messaging and Fetlife.
Note: It used to be, and there are still, some segments of the community that believe all subs should only speak when spoken to, never make eye contact, and address all Dominants as "Sir", "Master", ect at any public event / playspace / dungeon. Regardless of being "owned" by anyone there or not. I believe this is an outdated (and often times also sexist) mode of thinking that forces people into non-consensual power exchange relationships with people they might not even know. Spoiler alert: Most subs in every day life are also people. And people first, at that!
