Riley Reyes Wins Community Service Award at XBIZ’s RISE Gala
(Hollywood, CA) Adult performer and sex educator Riley Reyes was one of the adult industry members that was honored with an award at the RISE Talent Appreciation Gala.
Adult Performer Advocacy Committee (APAC) President Riley Nixon presented her the Community Service Award. The Community Service Award honors talent who selflessly go above and beyond to give back to the community while fostering a sense of unity and camaraderie.
Riley has done a lot for the industry as a whole while serving on the APAC board, first as the Vice President and now Chairperson. She organizes the annual Spread the Love fundraiser event that raises money each year for a charity relevant to the industry. The party raises funds from the admission of fans and industry attendees alike, as well as donations from its sponsors. Last year, she raised money to fight cyberbullying. This year, the proceeds from the event went to fund mental health services provided by Pineapple Support and APAC.
Throughout the year, Riley also organized APAC workshops for performers on topics ranging from sexual health to self-marketing to parenting. Through her APAC daily operations, she’s committed to helping adult actors find the resources they need, whether it is mental health support or legal help. She even organized a photo day to help performers build their portfolio at no cost to the models.
“I’m humbled that the industry and XBIZ honored me with such a meaningful award. I work hard to make a difference, and I’m glad that my work has impacted people in the industry. Thank you so much, XBIZ,” says Riley Reyes.
